Christoph

Arbor Coda

Abor is for many a Bergiff, the Sowboards stand for approx. 10 years for noble - beautiful - wood optics. The first splitboard was an abacus which is now replaced by the coda. Since Arbor has a special shape and compensates for its distinct V-rocker (or parabolic rocker) with bulges in the sidewall, the snowboards produce a hammer lift with surprisingly short length and still carve as if on rails. But in the ascent you make a small compromise, because the rocker doesn't support optimally here. This was even more pronounced with the predecessor Abacus. Already with the Coda since 16/17 this was largely eliminated. The rocker has been shifted a bit towards the tail and thus more contact area has been created. This has been proven at our test camps since 16/17, there are hardly any disadvantages in the ascent!
You can recommend the Coda as 100% Splitboard with Arbor Shape Feeling.

In terms of weight, the Arbor splitboards are also convincing. The chosen material mix was pleasingly light.
