What a beauty! In the picture it does not come out so but in "real" shimmers the Carbonium Topsheet very noble and is a highlight in the ladies range. We had it in 154 for testing on the Hintertux glacier. I am 160 tall at 56 kg and had a test track that gave all conditions: steep and icy, flatter and grippy as well as a piece of unprepared terrain.
The Epik belongs to the category: put it on, feel good! The flex and shape are so versatile that the board seems to take to any terrain with gusto. It turns easily in ungroomed terrain, it offers very good edge hold on icy bits, and it's playful enough for experimentation. It's also a relatively lightweight splitboard. I'm beginning to understand why Never Summer has achieved such cult status.
