Sehr gutes Board für Snowkiter und Freestyler im Backcountry :-)
Gerade für Snowkiter ist es wichtig, ein Twinshape zu haben. Das Board ist im Backcountry Snowkiten der Burner. Es ist easy im Aufstieg, hat genügend Popp für fette Bigairs und will im unzerpflügten Powder einfach nur spielen :-) Aber auch ohne Kite am Himmel macht mir das Board Spaß um den Powder zu shredden und das Gelände für Tricks einzubauen. Auf der Piste merke ich keinen Unterschied zwischen diesem Split oder einem onepiece Board.
Dank super Beratung bin ich mit diesem Board bereits seit 5 Jahren im BC zum Snowkiten unterwegs. Auch vom Service hat splitboards.eu mich bisher nicht enttäuscht :-)
The XTC Carbon construction is available as an upgrade for all Prior Splitboards and reduces the board weight by approximately
500 grams compared to the standard Quadraxial fiberglass.

The AMF of Prior in XTC
Also the AMF is one of many world premieres of the company Prior. The first TWIN splitboard. I admit, I too was skeptical when the AMF was announced. Who needs a TWIN in the backcountry? Due to the design, it has only disadvantages, as it loses its buoyancy due to the lack of setback - in the theoretical notion. Well, the AMF has become the most successful TWIN splitboard and rightly so. Because PRIOR has succeeded in creating a twin shape that outweighs the disadvantages of a twin in the backcountry with the advantages of the twin familiar driver. Of course, on really fat days of powder, you have to work a little bit more, but how much of it do we have in Europe? But what we always have is a descent and that masters the twin just as well as the freeride shape - each to his liking. If you've never heard of Twin at our test camps, you'll be amazed how directly it reacts and how much edge hold you get out of it. So who likes Twin - AMF for all days!
