Rome Uprise Splitboard 22/23

ROME SDS has a long and eventful snowboard history. Like many other brands, e.g. Amplid by Peter Bauer, the ROME guys at Burton have learned their trade. That was a long time ago. With their own company, they wanted to counter the extreme commercialization of the snowboard industry at that time. Snowboarding was in the beginning a small revolutionary movement of "Intusiasts". In between it became a totally overcrowded industrial mass product. Today, the market has settled down. What remained is the reflection on the essential. Rome SDS are 100% snowboarders. That's why they are one of the few brands that really produce everything for snowboarding. Clothing, binding boots - simply everything. So they also tried very hard with their new splitboards to offer something honest at a fair price. I was curious about the brand, so I contacted ROME SDS last season and got their splitboard products to come.

Conclusion: Thumbs up. Fine and agile all mountain shape with everything you need. Great boots with a lot of attention to detail. Hence since 18/19 it says for Rome SDS products: Welcome to Splitboards Europe.
