DROP YOUR BIG BACKCOUNTRY LINES. EXPLORE NEW TREE LINES
Ski touring has become extremely popular. Snowboarding is moving more and more from the slopes into the open ski area to freeriding.
Our Whiteroom is built on a shape package that offers optimized float and powder carving. It has enough power for a lot of buoyancy.
It's a shape that lets you ride as aggressively and responsively on the piste as off-road, with the same fun as your favorite freeride solid board.

ROME SDS has a long and eventful snowboard history. Like many other brands, e.g. Amplid by Peter Bauer, the ROME guys at Burton have learned their trade. That was a long time ago. With their own company, they wanted to counter the extreme commercialization of the snowboard industry at that time. Snowboarding was in the beginning a small revolutionary movement of "Intusiasts". In between it became a totally overcrowded industrial mass product. Today, the market has settled down. What remained is the reflection on the essential. Rome SDS are 100% snowboarders. That's why they are one of the few brands that really produce everything for snowboarding. Clothing, binding boots - simply everything. So they also tried very hard with their new splitboards to offer something honest at a fair price. I was curious about the brand, so I contacted ROME SDS last season and got their splitboard products to come.
Conclusion: Thumbs up. Fine and agile all mountain shape with everything you need. Great boots with a lot of attention to detail. Hence since 18/19 it says for Rome SDS products: Welcome to Splitboards Europe.
